Dear Patients,

As of Friday 20th March 2020 we made the decision to close down all routine operating at Cotswold Plastic Surgery Ltd.  The only exception is for some cancer cases.  Whilst we recognise that many of you will be disappointed by this, we felt we had a duty to protect the safety of our patients and staff and allow precious resources to be diverted to an NHS on the brink of a crisis.  The suspension will initially run until the end of June 2020 but we plan to remain flexible and keep things under constant review as the story of this difficult pandemic unfolds.  During this time, I want to reassure you that we’ll be in touch to reschedule your surgery, we will keep you informed of developments and remain on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you all for your kind support.  It’s at times like this that most Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare practitioners feel a real calling to the fold of one of the most incredible health care systems in the world – our precious NHS.  This will take up a little more of my time at present but Lisa and the team at the Nuffield Manor Hospital, Oxford will look after you and we’ve put systems in place to carry out both New and Follow-up consultations over the telephone and have retained operative capacity for urgent skin cancer cases such as melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma.  Rest assured that we’ll aim to answer any queries you may have.  Look out for our question and answer post in the next few days or drop us an email.

In the meantime, please observe social distancing, keep yourselves and your families safe and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon.
